Fraud Reports

Under Article 4 of the Insurance Law, the Annual Report of the Superintendent on the operations of the Insurance Frauds Bureau and an assessment of the insurance industry’s anti-fraud efforts.

In Accordance with Section 410 of the New York State Insurance Law, The Annual Report of the Superintendent on the efforts of the Insurance Frauds Bureau to investigate and combat health care fraud.

Hocolaust Claims Processing Office Report

Section 37-a of the Banking Law requires the Superintendent of Financial Services report annually to the Governor and Legislature on the condition and activities of the Holocaust Claims Processing Office (HCPO). The report includes information on the operations and accomplishments of the HCPO as well as a schedule of expenses related to the recovery of properties belonging to Holocaust victim survivors.

Long-Term Care Health Insurance Report

The Superintendent of Financial Services is required to make a biennial report on the implementation of Chapter 245 of the Laws of 1986 to the Governor and the Legislature regarding long term care insurance, including a description of the plans authorized to issue long term care insurance, factors contributing to or impeding the development of the enrollment in such plans, the adequacy of consumer information in relation to insurance coverage for long term care services, and such recommendations as the Superintendent may deem appropriate.
