Born and bred in the gritty streets of Chicago, this Windy City kid is a master at blowing away his competition...There were gale force winds blowing tonight!

PLAYERS:
The players are Erica Schoenberg, Ron Saccavino, Tyrone Jackson, David "Devilfish" Ulliott, Willard DuBois, Lupe Sherman, and Fred David.
The most accomplished blackjack-tournament player in the group is Fred David, though Tyrone Jackson and the table's two women, Erica Schoenberg and Lupe Sanchez, are all experienced players. Willard DuBois is new to tournament play, but he's renowned in blackjack for his live-game skills. Devilfish is one of the world's top poker-tournament pros, with two World Poker Tour championships and a World Series of Poker bracelet on his resume. Ron Saccavino is the Internet qualifier.

ELIMINATION:
Hand 8: The first Elimination Hand is cut short by a dealer natural and Internet qualifier Ron Saccavino is first off the table when Tyrone Jackson holds back more chips, $22,000 to $15,000.
Hand 16: Tyrone survives another EH when his natural locks out Fred David. Fred uses the poker term "drawing dead," which means he has no chance to win and he becomes the second player to be eliminated.
Hand 23: Devilfish loses consecutive $30,000 bets and goes out in fourth place.
Hand 25: The third Elimination Hand is unkind to Erica Schoenberg, who has to win her hand to advance, but only pushes.
Hand 28: Lupe Sherman makes a big bet, but Willard Dubois is all in. When he loses, he's eliminated in third place.
Last Hand
Because of Lupe's big bet on hand 28, she was effectively eliminated when she lost that hand. She uses hand 24 to make a graceful exit by surrendering. Throughout the match, Lupe surrendered often and Tyrone kidded her about it. It was a clever way for Lupe to concede defeat to Tyrone, who wins his first major blackjack title.
