Property Bureau Data Calls
The following table provides basic information on, and links to, the periodic data calls of the Property Bureau. Further information, including downloadable report files and instructions for each data call, may be found by selecting the link provided at the "Call Name".
Points to Note:
- Timely Submission of Reports - Do not complete a report that is out of date. For instance, do not complete the year 2001 Insurance Availability Survey and Annual Free Trade Zone Update for submission in November of 2002. Be sure to use the current Survey.
- Are You Required to File a Report? - Do not complete reports that you are not required to submit. If after reading the information in the "Who Must File" section, you are still unsure if you must file please refer your questions to the individuals listed in the "Contacts" section of each report.

| Professional Medical Malpractice Insurance Reporting Requirements | Cite: Section 315 of the Insurance Law Who Must File: All insurers, risk retention groups and the Medical Malpractice Insurance Plan writing medical malpractice insurance on a direct basis in this State. Due Date: Quarterly, one month after the close of the calendar quarter, except for the first report, which is due May 31, 2010. Purpose: Reporting requirements of Surcharges, Cancellations and Non-renewals for Medical Malpractice Insurers (filed with the Superintendent and with the Commissioner of Health) which will provide the Insurance Department with better information regarding an insurer's loss experience in this area.
